Welder
This leather motorcycle jacket underwent a complete transformation, beginning with an intricate hand-dyeing process that turned the original beige leather into a deep, even black.
Because this motorcycle jacket was destined for the road, the dyeing process required careful preparation. The preparation took weeks of research, cleaning, and testing, ensuring the finish would remain permanent and resistant to wear.

Both the dye and protective varnish were meticulously applied to withstand harsh weather, constant wear, and even potential scratches — ensuring the finish remained durable and long-lasting.

Once the base was perfected, the artwork took shape. A custom calligraffiti was created by hand that reads “Welder.” The design was layered with reflective paint that glows under headlights at night. Reflective elements were also extended onto the seams, adding both a stylistic edge and functional visibility.
The process involved multiple stages – from deglazing and preparing the leather, to layering coats of reflective pigment, and finally sealing the entire jacket for durability.

The result is a functional and striking piece of wearable art: bold by day, luminous by night, and completely one-of-a-kind. Functional wearable art.
